Deeply troubled - Relationship, Dating Forums, Advice on Love

hi guys! The situation is like this. A few months ago, I got backstabbed by a friend really badly. In fact, he's not a friend, he's a hypocrite. I confronted him and told him honestly that I hope he can change his behaviour, but he ended up hating me instead and he even fabricated one bunch of lies about me to his friends.

The fact is....most people already hate me, so it's very easy for them to believe him and think I'm the one who is doing bad things to him.
Now, I'm deeply misunderstood by lots of people. I really don't know what to do. Why do bad people always get away with what they did?

I'm feeling so depressed now. Please give me some advice. Thanks! =)

I wonder why all these people hate you.

But you know what, if they are not going to like you based on 1 side of a story then those people aren't worth it anyway.

Align yourself with like-minded people
Don't worry about being understood by other people. Just understand who YOU are and take care of YOU.
Stay away from the people that are constantly surrounded by drama
And remember.... People that mind dont matter... People that matter don't mind.
