I have a life long friend and we have always had our differences, but these days his negativity is reaching to a point were I need to stand up and end the bull **** . He has always had some issue with me for whatever reason I don't know, my stable and loving family I suspect because he really has no family and no real dad so he holds that against me, amongst other things.

In the morning he would be upset for whatever reason at himself and start taking it out on me, I call him on it and he apologizes but it just happens again and he feels worse, but I aint gonna take the crap from him.

He talks about me to my other friends in a negative way and always puts me in a bad light, he is aware of what he is doing and so am I and I ask him what is his problem with me but he cant spit it out.

It really sucks cause I own a business with him and cant just cut him off, he is a complete ******* at times and very angry, He drinks all the time and sleeps around with women. The guys got no class at all, he openly admits he is a piece of garbage this cant be healthy.

I have to lie to him to keep him off my case, and he finds out and calls me a liar and a weak person, and I am not I have been truly working on bettering myself and becoming a good person and have made some great progress that I am proud of but he doesn't like it cause he is making no effort to do the same.

What the hell do I do? his toxic personality effects alot of my other relationships and really pisses me off sometimes, I stand up to him and it makes it worse.

So you have talked to him about his behavior & he just argues more?
Is there anyway that you can dissolve the business end of your partnership?

If you can, then maybe it will be easier for you to get rid of him totally.

Hey michealjfox84

Sounds like the guy isn't worth keeping as a friend. You'd probably get into a legal battle over getting him out of the business.
