I think having a crush on someone stinks, b/c it only leads to rejection, disappointment, & humiliation. It's ok for other people to have a crush, but in my case I think it sucks... I had crushes & had been crushed too many times & I'm getting pretty  of it. The last crush I had was on this guy from Long Beach, since he's the last person that rejected me, I promised myself that I wouldn't waste my time chasing after men anymore. I prefer to have a normal relationship & live in reality b/c I'm so sick of living in a fantasy world... :frusty: If I'm attracted to someone I'll make sure he feels the same way or I'll have to move on. If I continue carrying torches for someone that doesn't feel the same way, I'll just wind up getting :flame: over & over....
Time 4 me 2 get my head out of the clouds & smell the:coffee:

I know what you mean..but honestly I wouldn't change my crush for the world...All is has to do is walk past me and smile, it makes me go all funny inside ( i wouldn't change that feeling for anything ) or mostly in his case sneak up behind me and scare the life out of me ( which is his favourite game ) I love him for it and it makes me so happy :o

Welcome to ATLF, LonelyDaisy. I'm sorry you've had some bad experiences. I'm sure you'll find someone someday...when you least expect it.
btw...I reduced the size of your font...it was rather big and distracting and all. :)

I know having a crush is a good feeling but it's not fun for me. I pefer having a normal relationship. Like I said in my 1st post. I always wound up getting hurt all the time, I don't want to keep going through that.

1st of all thank you for welcoming me, 2nd this will answer your question.
If I'm attracted to someone, I'll make sure he feels the same way.
If I continue carrying torches for someone that doesn't feel the same way, I'll just get :flame: over & over...

I trying to make a point that I don't want to go through getting hurt by having a crush on someone that doesn't feel the same way, in other words going through rejection.

Yeah, you're right. It is really hard to have a crush that isn't reciprocated. But you have to admit, when you first have a crush, that is such a good feeling that makes you feel alive :)

You will be ok, hun. You haven't found the right guy yet. He will come, just keep smiling, hun. :)

Yeah, you will find someone. The road to love is full of bumps and potholes. But when you get there it's worth it all. :)

I have to agree here. It's great at first an then It sux because you have to come to terms with the fact that things will probably never happen ( it's not always straightforward )
I've accepted that now and I have gone back to the way I was before...He makes me happy everyday by doing the most simplist of things..I wouldn't change those feelings for anything..He always gives me an excuse to smile.
And I've moved desks so can look at his butt as he goes to walk out the door now and he doesn't know :p

I must admit having a crush is a great feeling, :lalala: it's being rejected that sucks... :disappointed: I know it's part of life and it's a lesson that I've learned. If a guy is not interested, I should back off. It's no fun having a crush on someone you won't have. I'm through chasing men, that doesn't mean I'm through searching. There are plenty of fish in the sea, I just have 2 find the right fish.:fish:
