Is it possible to play too hard to get? I mean, is there a point where say a girl likes you, but you play hard to get a little longer than you should, and she just forgets about you and moves on. is it too late once that has happened to do anything about it?

I'm just curious, another thread on here sparked an interest.

I think there is a point...but it may vary from person to person...how much they are willing to put up with and keep holding out hope?? (IMO) playing games like "hard to get" is not that good for anyone to do.....but I can see where it is better than (playing) ...."too easy"....lol :D If you like someone...let them know. :)Is it possible to play too hard to get? yeah, I think I've played hard to get a little too long in the past, and its cost me having a couple of relationships.

Well the good thing about that is...YOU learned from your mistakes and past. Don't be so hard on yourself...things usually work out the way they are supposed to anyway. :)yeah, I think I've played hard to get a little too long in the past, and its cost me having a couple of relationships.

You know...this is just me, but I beleive in being honest with someone I like. If I like them, I tell them. Well...maybe I don't say exactly how much right away if I think they may not feel the same. Like I did with Tuxie. :D hehe But I certainly don't act like I don't like them or I could care less. I think it's a dangerous game to play, as you experienced. It can make the other person figure your not interested and give up. Better to be honest. If you tell them honestly that you like them and they aren't interested...oh well, their loss. I wouldn't think you'd want someone who only likes you because you act like you don't like them. What happens when you drop the act? Sorry for rambling. :)

yeah, I know where you're coming from. I just have an issue with being very bad at relationships. I went from one extreme of being too open, to the other extreme of being too closed off. now i just got to find a happy median sometime.
