Merry Christmas To All!!

There are so many things we leave unsaid
As we tuck the young ones in bed
They dream of wishes
And not having to help with the Christmas Dishes!!!

The young dream of getting older
The old of it not getting any colder
Hopes lay in our peaceful slumber
As parents get things ready and add up the numbers!!!

Some will struggle to make it through
And others won't care if the gift is brand new
To share a smile
To laugh if even for a while!!!

Some will go to bed hungry
Some clinging to their mummy
Some will raise a glass of cheer
Some will just be glad to see ones they hold so dear!!!

Those who have lost loved ones this year
Will hold hands and shed a tear
Those who have beaten health issues
Will need a few more happy tear tissues!!!

But, for you my friends
As this year draws to it's ends
May it draw to a close, with tears of joy and peaceful slumber
May the good times be too many to be counted in number...

May this year bring joy and happiness
May it bring you all the best
May it find you will all you love
And may your cupboards be full, your home warm, and may your heart be as light and free as a dove!!!
