A romantic walk i a nice park if the weather is sunny, possibly a little picnic perhaps...

Yeah, I agree. Or maybe a nice outdoor cafe would be good. :) (Welcome back btw...good to see you posting again)

A moonlight stroll afters as well would be nice and offer your jacket if it's chilly ;)

the beach, i love the beach.. very romantic. you can go at evening too, to take off the bathing suit pressure but still have that whole sunset-bonfire feel :)

Walks are always great, as well as going to a coffee place. Depending on how well you know the girl (even if it's your first date) I've had good luck with frisbee in a park, or just walking around downtown.

All good ideas :)

I like to choose a nice, cozy place but not small where awkward moments of silence can seem like years. I always make it a short date too, to start, just in case the chemistry is simply not there and if it is? It is much easier to extend a date than to end one that was not yet to be over.

nice, fancy romantic restaurant with music playing...or you could also set up dinner near the beach with a lot of candles and of course with soft mellow music playing so you could dance too.

Oh, that's easy..to bed. :D Just kidding ! I would start off getting to know her. I would take her to a place she would like to eat at, talk there, and get to know each other. You know like other things she would like to do. Maybe a movie if anything is playing that you guys like. Picnic is always a good way to just sit and talk and get to know each other. Then (being a romantic person myself) I would think of romantic ways for the next date, if I find that we have a lot in common and hit it of well. Good luck !

I see I'm not the only romantic fool here. Not calling you a fool, hun. Just romantic.

yeah, forethought into a date plan is wildly attractive in my book :)
