It's been going trough my mind for a while... Are we so different culturally Europeans and you people from the new world? Is there something that you feel makes you really different from us? Do you think you could live here?

For me - just the whole dating thing I would never be able to really handle, too many rules.... And also your countries are so huge, we are into small here and really hardly need a car in big cities, we travel a lot from one place to the other, we usually speak several languages and I love those differences. We are into football big time! Soccer you call it. We are into F1. We are into rugby and we can even relate to cricket! Just to mention a few things.

Yes it is easy to interact here on the forum - but could you actually live here?
I am not sure I could live over there.

Hmmm.... interesting question mashmac.

I think, as human beings, we are not THAT different. However, over time... we have become acclimated to our surroundings, much like chameleons do. We tend to adapt to certain lifestyles, and adopt them as our own. Change is something different, and it scares us at times (something I'm going through now, with my job).

You are exactly right mashmac... it is VERY big over here in the states. Lots and lots of room. Speaking of racing, I have a HUGE event happening this weekend in my hometown. But, it's not F1 (although, we do have that here also ;) just a bit later). I would LOVE to be able to park my car, and walk or ride a bike to where I needed to go. :D

Sure, we all have differences. What a boring world it would be if we didn't. But that gives us all an opportunity, to learn new things...different cultures and languages. But underneath it all, we're all human and want the same basic things in life. :)
