Hi my forum friends

On the 15th July I am doing a Sponsered event for Cancer Research UK.

It's the UK's only event for women.

It's a 5k event which you can even walk, jog or run. I'm walking and maybe jogging as I am not that energetic ( although I have just joined a gym so who know's maybe I will be able to run it by then )

All money goes to Cancer Research UK and I have a target to raise of £100.

If anyone would like to support me and a great charity then I it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys xx

I gots a question...

Since most of our members are elsewhere (rather than the UK), how would our donations translate into Lira? Would it automatically convert over? It's just a question I had in the back of my pea brain.

Good for you meerkat! Tis a noble cause... :)

Yes - transfers always get turn into the equivalent of the currency of the country you are living in. So any transfer would be accounted for as GBP no matter where it's coming from. It is a great cause meerkat. I'll check out the link and get back to you. The easiest and instant transfer is always a transfer done via the post office and the fees are minimal. IF YOU HAD JOINED TO EURO ZONE LIKE THE REST OF US ON THE CONTINENT YOUR LIVES WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH EASIER BUT YOU GUYS JUST DON'T WANT TO REALLY BE PART OF THE EU!!! :)

I know..Aren't we rubbish..But part of the fun of going away is that you get to change up currency and try and work out what every coin is..

I'd miss that :p

And that is exactly what used to drive me mad! Waiting in line to change the money, never knowing how much I spent...Now it's all in Euros and life is easy... And you are not rubbish - you are doing fine with the good old GBP and it's very pretty, nicer than Euros.
