Ahhh... I see.

Well, my marriage was messed up... we were in marriage counseling... it was discovered that I had a gf on the side (Tuxette). That was pretty messed up. Long story short, my wife never got over that... soon filed for divorce afterwards.

Any other questions EC?

Actually Tuxie, I mean stuff up, like ruining the hard work we've put into with stupid mistake and what happened.

I think my wife thought we were making progress, and that a lot of hard work went into the counseling. Whereas for me, I just wasn't sure what I wanted at the time.

Hey EC - I am not sure how you messed up / I just know you've been struggling for a while so and all the efforts you put in...

Anyway, I don 't really have any examples except a very long time ago, I left my teenage/UNI boyfriend. My first love. Broke his heart. He was/is a great guy. I wanted him back but although he loved me for years after and looked after me - he never trusted me again. Guess that's not a very upbeat answer...

Today - we are real good friends. And that's great.
