What is the worst break up story you have?? Were you the dumper or dumpee?? Did you see it coming?? What do you think was the main cause of it??

Didn't see it coming and was devastated. Too long of a story but we were about to move in together.... Well it hurt like hell but I am over it now. So glad he is out of the picture and wouldn't take him back ever although at the time I thought he was the man of my life! He was horrid to me.

sorry to hear you were hurt. I am glad you are over it and have moved on. It's always hard going through stuff like that...but things happen for a reason...and as long as you learn from it..it will make you a stronger person.
thanks for sharing.

Heh...I can name two times...with the same person. Once I was the dump-er. The other the dump-ee. Both hurt very bad. I thought I'd never recover or love again. But I did...with that same person and we are together still. @ Tuxie

The worst dumps I've seen are ending year and half long relationships through texts, or dumping someone and being seen with someone else the same day... thankfully I've never been part of one of these dumps..

yeah going off of what joehash said, i mean, breaking up over text or internet is just kind of a slap in the face to what you had, not even the decency to do it to your face... in person...

I agree it's not a nice way to break up with someone. Though I've been guilty of it. :o In my own defense I just felt I express myself better in writing....

haha excuses excuses :) i dont mind the breakup letter after someone does it in person, you know? id just rather they do it to me. LDR i understand... but at school adn stuff when you see each other every day it kind of sucks to do that... or explain in writing = ok by me :)

I agree with ya'll...but what I think is worse is when you don't hear anything else at all from the person...they give you no reason or "excuse"...just quit calling or seeing you or whatever?? That way (IMO) you have no closure..or at least it is hard to find closure..you are left wondering what happened??? :(

Oh yeah completely...I'd much rather know then be left in the dark

I've had that happen to me before..It isn't a nice feeling at all...I still wonder about it now..But there was no point dwelling on it for to long...They obviously weren't meant for me.

out of curiousity for those who said it just sort of stopped, did youe ver end up talking the guy about it to see what happened?

I tried but he just didn't want to know..He wouldn't give me an answer so I just had to let it go..There was a big age gap so I am guessing that might have been the reason.

yeah I did..for one of the guys. He said that I am too passive and basically too nice....lol anyway, I came to the conclusion..it doesn't matter what they say or don't say for that matter...they will probably not tell the truth anyway??? But I think it does help (some what) to at least hear something...much better than nothing (IMO)out of curiousity for those who said it just sort of stopped, did youe ver end up talking the guy about it to see what happened?

Sure, I tried one or two times but mostly they'd just kinda...vanish. *shrugs* Good riddence to them. I found my love
