Need advice.

I just returned from abroad where I was for 2 year. Coming back I moved in with my best friend. When I came back he told me he had finaly broken-up with his girlfriend 4 months earlier, with whom he had been for 3 year. Following that, he started seeing his previous girlfriend again. Meanwhile, a relationship bloomed between his recent ex-girlfriend and me. It is getting pretty serious, yet I can't help but feel like bad because I have to lie to my friend constantly. He is very protective of her. He would be so mad if he was to learn about me and her, yet I just can't seem to be able to stop it. Any advice?

well, i would talk to your friend about what going on--his friendship comes before the girl. and you need to be honest with what you are doing or else you will just start resenting the relationship entirely for the guilt you feel for lying to your friend. perhaps with things in the open you can make a more accurate decision about what to do based on his reaction. if he is dating someone new, perhaps he will be fine... or perhaps he will want you to at least wait until the pain has healed a bit more for him, and i think as his best friend you need to respect whatever decision he may have.
