Scents: Good or bad?

I've recently just gotten a new job at a convience store. I see...and smell all kinds of people. So, let me ask you guys this. What do you think of people who wear cologne and perfume? Do you have a favorite kind? Can there be too much of a good thing? What do you think?

i dont like perfume on girls, for some reason, its always overbearing to me but... perhaps the companes focus more on cologne because personally i like cologne on men, it makes them smell all manly and i cant really describe but its really attractive to me. but i like it when you ahve to get close enough to smell it, if you can smell it when youre just talkin gor something its really ovrewhelming and then becomes unattractive...

I love the smell of perfumes. Men's colognes are very intoxicating to me....I actually love it so much I could wear them instead of women's perfume...lol But some of my favorites are J-Lo's, Celine, Burberry, Gucci, and Men's: Unforgivable, Issey Miyake, Paul Sebastian...those are my favorites. :) I've recently just gotten a new job at a covience store. I love perfumes, scents, cremes: Kenzo, Issey Miyake (has been top of my list since I am a teenager, they always come out with a summer version too), Miss Dior and for boys CK,Gucci, Armani... Used sparingly and discreetly. It also depends on the season: light perfumes/eau de cologne/eau de toilette in warmer weather, more full bodied in winter. Well I do live in the country of scents!

There is also something about the natural clean smell of a person. I am convinced that is what turns you off and on about a men/women

I agree! I love the way some guys smell just naturally.

My favortie perfumes are "Contradiction" by Calvin Klein & "Freedom" by Tommy Hilfiger. I also have a few perfumes that I like from Avon. Alot of the shower sprays from Bath & Body Works are very nice too.

Colognes, I like "Cool Waters" (can't remember who's that is). It smells SOO GOOD on my fiance! :)

I know this is really late, but I just joined, so here's my two cents :rolleyes:

Speaking as a guy, I hate it when a girl has a really overbearing scent. What I like is when a girl wears a sweet, spicy perfume, but not a lot at all so you can only smell it from really close. It gives you the opportunity to get close ;)

Also, you might not want to wear perfume at all, a nice body wash or deodorant can do the effect just right :rolleyes:

I like the smell of roast dinner...You can smell it cooking and you know it's just going to taste sooooooo good :D

LOL I love the kind that I once bought my ex gf. It was set of Moonlight Path. She put that on and about drove me crazy. I like the perfume Beautiful, Pleasures and Beyond Paradise that I bought her as well. As for me, I wear a lot of different ones.

I like perfumes and colognes. I usually use Bath and Body Works body wash, lotion and body spray. Not all at one time though. My favorite scents from there are Coconut Lime Verbena, Brown Sugar & Fig and Cherry Blossom.
