Stanley Cup Playoffs!

stanley cup playoffs start today, gotta be a few hockey fans around, whos your team? whats your predictions and why?

I don't know enough about pro hockey to make any kind of prediction. I suppose, I'd root for Buffalo (they are in the playoffs, aren't they?)... since that's where my gf lives. :D

Indy has a USHL team, which is an amateur league. I've been to about 4 or 5 of their games this season. ;)

yeah Buffalo is in it, they were one of the top teams this year, they play tommorrow against the New York Islanders, you should check it out, playoff hockey is unreal to watch, especially Buffalo with their fast offence, they score alot of goals, although it is very rough, usually there is a scrap, a few huge hits, its a game played with alot of heart.

I used to watch it on TV when I was younger... but, lemme tell ya... there's nothing like seeing one in person. The first game I ever went to, I went alone... but I was hooked. I actually saw Wayne Gretzky start his 'pro' career here in Indianapolis.

lucky guy, you own a piece of history with the greatest hockey player ever, I love the atmosphere of playoff games, although around here they are about $100 a pop for nosebleed seats $250+ for good ones, and then of course you have the $8 beer and $30 parking, so I tend to stay home or go out to the pub, best ever are olympic hockey games, I will have my chance to see a live gold medal game come 2010 I just hope its Canada and USA in the final, makes for some good hockey
