Are you neat or a packrat?

Tuxie and I watch these shows together often...where they help clean up people's dirty, cluttered houses. They invite these people to come to their house and help them, but then they never want to surrender anything.

It got me wondering about those on here. So...are you very neat and tidy? Of the mind "a place for everything and everything in it's place". Are you Kinda cluttered but you feel it's a controlled chaos? Or maybe are you a total packrat and/or just don't like to clean?

I am borderline anal retentive. Although, I consider myself to be an organizationalist... I am not nearly as bad as I once was. In answer to the question, yes... I am a neat (tidy) person. :cool: :rolleyes:

controlled chaos but hate dirty so clean controlled chaos. my partner is tidy so you can imagine! but we manage.

This thread is old, but I thought to bring it back up.

I am a neat person, everything has it's place. I'm pretty organized too, the dresser drawers, kitchen cabinets, closets, etc. are also organized. The problem is my fiance is a controlled chaos type of person, so you all can imagine what's in like in our house! :D :eek:

I am neat and messy. At my job my desk has to be spotless at all times. At home, on the other hand, is a wreck! It's so messy and I could care less! :D

I tend to be a little bit of both. I hate messy places ... just staring at it is enough to give me a headache to the point that I can't even think straight. I'm not perfect, but I try to be as organize as possible. To the point that I can sit on the couch in the living room and place my feet on the coffee table, or read the morning paper with some peace of mind. I do about 75% of the housekeeping, since I'm spend more time at home at the end of my work day. My wife works evenings that she doesn't really want to engage in any housework, especially when arriving home close to midnight. :D
