I have discussed this with Tuxie before and we were coming up with quite a list. But I wanted to see what you guys could add to it. This is (silly) things you may've 'learned" from tv/moovies/cartoons etc. Like in cartoons: You can walk on air...until you look down. If something heavy lands on you you'll look as flat as a pancake. You can fall from any height and land with only a few bruises and scrapes that soon vanish. Will add more later. :) So what have you all learned? lol

From the cartoons: You can slam your hand in a door.. pull it out, red and throbbing.. but after only a few frames later, tada!! it's completely back to normal. :D

I read a comic book about 15 years ago. A man taught his son that some grass can be edible and help people stay alive when lost in a bush.

His son was excited, grabbed a bunch of grass and pulled, he ended up cutting himself.

The father then told him that he must first grab the grass, angle the fist, then pull so to avoid cutting himself by the very fine and sharp edges of grass which on the other hand is soft.

I was impressed about the thoughts the writer put into the comics, not just some bullshit stuff.

As a kid I watched Asian drama movie series (up to fifty plus tapes) and I was taught compassion and generosity.. and that things can go wrong and even when things seem unbearable, you must keep your head up and try to move on..

I still watch them now actually..
