Well, I am going to buy some flowers, look around for a new bed, that's all I have planned for now.

My weekends are usually lazy ones. I spend most of my time with Tuxette (by phone), and we watch all kinds of shtuff on TV. :kiss: I do occasionally spend time with my son on the weekends. :)

More details? Ok...well, I spent a lot of the day yesterday trying to transfer files from my old computer to my new one...which has Vista. Thought it'd be pretty straightforward, but my old computer is pretty nuts at times. It didn't like any of my CD-R's or CD-RW's. So I had to go out and get a special "easy transfer cable". hehe Once I got that, it wasn't really a problem. :) Today I'm getting internet finally for the new computer...so I'm excited. :D Cable modem! Woohoo! lol Then sometime...eventually we got to do a clean install on this old one. I don't know when yet. Then just gonna spend time with my love, Tuixie today. Always makes for a good day. :D

I spent most of the day with Tuxette, part of which I tried to help her transfer her important files to her new computer (I love helping her :D). I traveled out to the grocery store in the afternoon, to pick up some necessities. In the evening I watched the Bruce Willis movie "Unbroken" with Tuxette. Strange movie... but I had fun (I love watching shtuff wif her :D).

hey! i was gone all weekend so i guess i could tell ya what i did...first me and my friend brett went to one of our friends kids b-day parties at the swimming pool....played with kids it was fun...then we showered and got dressed up and drove down to the casino (it was brett's first time) and i taught him all the games then we got a lil drunk :D ate some really good food and then i took him to the poker room and we played texas hold em for a few hours...all the rooms were booked so we just passed out in my car...woke up and went to ihop for breakfast and drove home....got home and showered and changed again then we drove to texas to mess around and meet brett's parents it was fun but different lol....his family is nothing like him at all but they were really nice...oh yeah we went to texas to drop off brett's wife's cats for them to take care of while we're in maryland....anyway, got home from that we went out and ate at a nice mexican restaurant and just came home and relaxed and talked to a buddy from back home on the phone and thats about it....

It's almost midnight here and I have to force myself to log off. Well I did post like a mad woman as I haven't been able for a while!...

So that's what I am doing. And it's freezing here!!!! I thought it was supposed to be spring!

PS: I also check the forum at work and think a few people have noticed but as they know I hate anyone standing behind me (I always turn around and say can you please not stand here as it makes me uncomfortable - This in the nicest possible way), they wouldn't dare saying commenting. Awww... I hate to hear about the accident. I had one of those over the winter, I'm gonna hafta pay for the repairs to his car in a few weeks.

I am trying to install World of Warcraft and it's so hench it is starting to annoy me now.

It took all evening yesterday to install the game and all this evening to install the patches. It's still installing them but I am not going to bed until it's done.

I love that, yet I also hate that. Its kind of fun having to make stuff up on the spot when you're least prepared, but its also stressful. I play guitar, and played trombone, so I've dealt with music alot. I've always found the piano interesting, but never been able to learn it. We bought a used piano a few years back, but the tune up and recondition was going to cost more than the thing itself, so we donated it to charity. I wish I still had it.

No, but we did think about trying a dish. I had for my Tapas chicken w/curry mayo celery & grapes. My man had fried oysters & potatos. Then for our main dishes, he had clams & mussels w/chorizo. I had crispy chicken stuffed w/chorizo & goat cheese w/curry rice. All the dishes were really good. I will have to try the paella the next time we go.

There are days when I have over two hours in between my jobs in the afternoon. Since my home is just 15-20 minutes away from my first two cases in the morning, I'd like to stop by every now and then, enjoy a home cooked meal, and then take a short nap before hitting the road again for my next case. :D

Well I did a little house cleaning today, made some real good kick butt dinner & now I'm finally relaxing at my home away from home, right here! :)

I just made an appt. to see the doctor tomorrow at 9!

Today I will be going to the Body Works exhibit at the Tech Museum downtown. We are planning to stop by University Chicken so that my boss could try the 911 challenge and I don't know what else.. I do have to be back at the store in the late evening to train a new hire but other than that today should be a good day..

Today will be a busy & shorter day for me. I have a few last things to clean off my desk. We also get to leave 2 hours early from our regular departure time today so it's going home at 1pm for me. So I have to try my hardest to get this desk cleaned off before I leave.

I am leaving for my appt. soon then I have work until 4:30. My boss and I are going to Palo Alto (30 min. away) to pickup a pie, and then off to a coffee seminar until 8PM. At least I am off tomorrow..

Today was a pretty exhausting day. Had a whole lot of running around to do with our sick kitty Lucy. I'm finally done with dinner & now as I'm typing this I'm feeling like taking a nice long all night nap.

As soon as I arrived home from work, I took advantage of the unusually warm weather that we're having here in Long Island. I spent most of the day outside cleaning, vacuuming, waxing and prepping both cars to prepare them for the upcoming winter. By the time I got to the second car, I thought I would never get the job done. Fortunately, my brother-in-law is here to lend a hand and we got things done in half the time. I had enough time to help the wife preparing the food inside the home - before she threw a fit (if you know what I mean :D ).

It rained briefly, but I wasn't worried, knowing that both cars are protected and equipped from the elements. :) After dinner, my niece played a few melodies on her flute. I got to accompany her on a couple of tunes with my guitar: John Denver's "Annie's Song" and Jim Croce's "Time In A Bottle." I am amazed at how flute and guitar duets can sound so awesome!

Right now, the entire family is watching this Korean drama about a king and the legend of the four gods. If my attempt to phonetically replicate what they're saying makes sense - it's pronounced as "Tae Whang Sa Shin Ki." I'm catching a glimpse of it every now and then, but for now, my eyes are fixed on the laptop to try to post at the ATLF! :D

Today my fiance & I made some turkey soup, we did a good job too. We also put up the Christmas tree & will finish up with the rest of the decorations tomorrow. Now I'm just relaxing reading & posting here.

Today, we went & washed clothes. I finished putting up the Christmas decorations & then made some dinner. A pretty busy day, but now that EVERYTHING is done I can finally have a day off & to myself tomorrow. Good because Monday it's back to work.

Today was the day to do NOTHING much at all! I cleaned the cats litter box like early, made some breakfast & sat around. Got on here in the AM, let my fiance have the PC to play his game. Then I made a little dinner (no not turkey...thank god) & now I'm back online while he is watching a football game.

I had work.. stayed for an additional 2 hours to make sure the store is fine.. I get scared when we have inexperienced partners working on a Sunday..

I will be meeting with my someone today and then I will need to stop by Sprint to get prices and whatnot for my Mogul!

we also had some fun this afternoon as the power went off I went to fix the fuse and it kept going off I unplugged all the power points and the last power point had an extension lead plugged in and I worked out the lead had moisture in it but the good news is we have power again. hehehe

I just got off work.. for the book drive, our goal as a district was set at 500 and I collected 678 books! I had a hard time lugging those boxes in my car and especially driving during rush hour traffic didn't help too but I am very pleased with my results.. I have another project on my hand and another big on (The MS Walk in May) but we won't be planning that till after the holidays.. I love my job even though I complain at times.

Today was a day off of work. I cleaned out 1 of the closets. We bought a bigger bed so I decided to get rid of the smaller sheets & comforters out of the closet. well today I have been busy packing my suit case ready for a trip to Melbourne to see my mother the ship ( the spirit of Tasmania is just leaving the dock as I type this post
at 6 am in the morning the ship will dock in Victoria Melbourne.

I have been doing a few jobs for her around the house
hehe had a nap this afternoon because I was up all night on the ship
then when I woke up I done a few more little jobs for my mother

mum is pretty frail I have been worried about her since I came over here last November
what I have also noticed with her if she talks about my brother and sister inlaw she shakes like a leaf.

its very sad to see my mother like that

just to keep inline with the topic at 12 am a water main burst I was just about to retire for the night I saw all the flashing red and blue lights so I went out side to have a look there was water every where it took them till 2.30 am to turn the water main off to stop the flooding.
I can not see the road its all water lol we are on a hill here and the water came to mums front fence lol

A house is flooded across the road
there is alot of water lol

I just came inside after talking to one bloke he said they will have to call in the Fire service to pump the water to make the road safe for cars

its still that hot here at 3 am I should go out the front and go for a swim lol
