Wondering if you have a few tips on how to resist contacting your ex when he dumped you and clearly doesn't care at all? Chain yourself to the wall? I mean with the net it's so easy to slip and just press send...How not to relapse?

Heh....I'm prolly not the best one to answer this, but I'll try my best. Try this maybe. Try writing him and just not sending it. That way you get out what you want to say without contacting him. Just a thought. :)

just keep in mind that if he wanted to call you, he would, and perhaps you two just need time apart to settle things out. perhaps he needs time to work out his own emotions before talking to you again. when the time is right, the time is right... and just resist because you dont want to rush back into things when the emotions are still at a dangerously high level. also, just keep yourself busy! thats been what has worked for me. :)

Just when I think I am fine - I relapse. It's been months and months, over a year and I still relapse. Big time. And then I wonder - is it possible I might never get over it? Is it possible he was the only man I fel so strongly about and therefore will never heal? I am starting to think it is. It's been so long and I still feel so much. And I am not exactly a teenager but a grown up woman and yet it just doesn't go away. How can I learn to live with this deep deep pain?

I know things will get better with time. I also know that I am a mature woman and that as you grow older certain things just seem to affect you more and often forever. This wasn't a little fling. Certainly not for me. We made a baby, I just have to learn to accept that this might be my cross to carry - pain for the sins and pleasure or or payback for my pleasurable sins - so basically pay back time. I just want to be ready for it. And I am prepared to pay any price I have to and suffer forever so I can protect my baby. And his well-being is a million time more important than mine. Or anything about me. Let's face is - what I did was so wrong. Appalling. :o

Some days it's just harder, some days I cry but I just have to to get on with it.
Not much choice. I wish you two the moon and the stars.

You're gonna have to get your mind on other things, as hard as it may be. You need to distract yourself consistently until you don't relapse anymore.

No, don't chain yourself to a wall. You would get more pleasure kicking butt?
Just kidding ! :D Instead of pressing send, how about pressing the delete key? Do you think this person is thinking about you this way? I think not. Don't make others to be better than you are. In other words, don't waste your time on others that don't give a **** (excuse me), because they are not worth it, you are just as good as they are, so why make them feel that they are better than you? Good luck to you ! :)

I am not just feeling better - I am totally over it. It's strange how it works: one day you think you are madly in love, your heart is broken and then you just move on not overnight but you eventually do.... we (us humans) are a weird mob!
