i am very much interested in this guy who lives in colombia and i am in america... he says he likes me too but he parties and raves and clubs, and i think it might be tempting for him to hook up with other girls (though he says he wont), so im just unsure about the whole thing. any advice?

hello aussie mate,
not sure how old you are....and if can envisage one day moving and compromising so you can be together. it's not that simple.
if you like each other - take is slowly and if it grows then you will see if you can take it further in which case you will have to try and get closer or regularly visit each other.
although my love life is currently a disaster - once upon a time i made one of those long-distance one work. just left myself time to find out if i really had feelings and once that was established and after a year of commuting - we made the move.
i didn't put any pressure on him at the start and also wanted to keep my freedom (and options, i'll be honest) - otherwise it's too hard. you'll always be worried he/she is up to someting.
the only concern on those long-distance ones for me is that there is a limit on how long it can last without physical contact and face to face interaction.
so if you really care - keep on planning the next encounter the moment the last one is finished. hope it helped a little.
