What does it mean if a guy winks at a girl?
What if he smiles and winks?

It could mean alot of things, it could be his way of greeting you or saying goodbye to you.

It could mean he could be slightly interested.

Has this guy shown you anything else that would show you with out a doubt that he is interested in you?

It's not any one one guy really, just in general. Something friends and I have wondered about.

i thikn it depends on the guy. some are just being friendly, some are just being flirty without wanting it to go anywhere, and others mean it as an invitation to start up a chat and maybe go out. it kinda depends on the personality of the guy.

Would it matter if he was in a band and on stage when he did it? or otherwise working?

Well if he's in a band it might be part of his gig, like the performance he does.

yeah i agree, if hes in a band it might just be the energy he feels creating music, or just part of the show, yo uknow? like thats their image. it might not necessarily mean anything.

Yep.. i too do agree with aussiecoffee007 and Teej, it partially depends on his profession. Being in a band could be a reason of winks but it's not necessarily the "reason" coz one of my buds was a passionate pop singer but he was not in the habit of winking or so! So i think ultimately it all depends on the guy his personality and morals...lots more.:)
