Still Sick

Hey everyone!

I wanted to let you all know that I am still sick. I was out almost all week last week with 1 of the nasty flus that is going around everywhere. I felt good enough to go to work on Friday last week. Then Saturday I was still doing ok, not 100% though.

I woke up yesterday & felt my neck on the left side. It's all swollen on that side right under my chin, I can barely talk & I'm still coughing alot & my nose it continued plugged & running. The flu symptoms are gone, no more body aches, but I still feel horrible with my throat being so bad. :(

So I called the doctor today & I have an appointment for tomorrow at noon. My fiance asked around to a few of his co-workers & they seem to think that I may have strep throat. It would be a true first for me if I do, I have never had it before, much less ever had any kind of tonsil problems. We will see when I go to the doctor tomorrow though.

I just wanted to update you all on what's been going on with me. I haven't been around as much as I normally am & it's because of being so sick. I just don't have the umph to want to stay online, all I want to do is sleep or lay in bed watching TV.

Anyone who knows me knows that I hardly ever go to the doctors, so you all know I must be sick! :D :(

Sapphire *hugs* as we say in arabic Salaamaat. It means Get well Soon and May You Be Well and Peaceful. hehe Sometimes I forget that I'm not talking to people who know arabic and my first reaction is "Salaamaat" so I decided to post it :D

Get Well Soon!!! Drink lots of lemon and green tea !! and take it easy. Having a strep throat is HORRIBLE :( Let your fiance treat you like a qeeen !! hehe

Thanks Mixed hun. :) You can say all the arabic you would like, I wouldn't mind learning something new. :)

A very good friend of mine speaks Arabic & it's very interesting to hear her speak to her mother on the phone. I've asked her in the past to teach me some stuff, but we don't always get the chance to hang out alot anymore.

Well I got back from the doctor & he told me that I still have a cold from the flu I had last week. It seems to want to take it's slow time to go away. I have to continue the meds that I have been taking & if I'm not better by Friday to give him a call back. Gee, I go out to see a doctor & get what I already knew, that's why I don't like doctors.

I really hope you getter, Sapphire. I had it not too long ago and it was horrible. Keep on taking your meds and you'll be as good as new! :p

I guess I should have thought of what the doctor told me as good news. It could have been worse, but it isn't so, yeah Tony your right that's a good thing.
