Well, first of all... welcome tbartolo to ATLF. Glad to have you here. :)

Second of all... I hear ya about the distance thing. My gf is in the southwest US, and I'm in the midwest. True, not nearly the distance you have... but it's still distance.

Yeah, I believe in it. But I also know that a distance relationship takes more effort to make it work. I don't know how feasible it is for you to actually, physically see her... but you need to have that part if the relationship is going to work.

Hope this helps. :)

Hi..i see we are in the same case..pract.

Usually i see her in the holidays, Easter and summer, and i believe she really likes me...like i like her..

My English isn't very good and i'm sorry for any mistakes...

I feel special when i'm with her (she:confused:)

When we are distant I talk to her on the internet, but i'm always thinking when i'm gonna see her...and sometimes it isn't easy..

I'd like to talk with you...see u in the next time..

an go on whit your relationship!;)

Thank's!

hi,

i do think long distance relationship can work, but only temporarily. you do need the physical contact to learn more about each others chemistry. how you really feel when you touch her and when she touches you. if you never see each other, i don't think it can work for a long term.

oh i am a total believer in long distance love. there is no question about it. soulmates can live anywhere and if youre so lucky as to meet this girl, dont ever let her go. you can make it work, you can live for the love, but dont let distance be the reason you say no to the person you could spend the rest of your life happily ever after with.

I'm not worried about your English... if you say something we don't understand, we'll just ask you to clarify a bit. We're just glad you're here! :)

Yes, I understand your feelings on the distance factor... I deal with them every day. Tuxgal used to be much closer to me, but now she is farther away... and it does make it hard. So, I understand.

I believe that there is love at distance,I've felt it myself last summer.

Please carve that in stone, it's so true. Now that I've reunited L/D with the girl I've loved for three years (see my thread 'my take on L/D R/S) I will wait until we can work out her moving. And I will be faithful. I'm guessing it will take about a year.

Having said that, we did have an intense in-person R/S for a few months three years ago. We already know each other in a physical/in-person way very well. I think that helps increase the odds of success a lot.

definitely, it helps to know what its like to actually BE with a person... although its all that more difficult to be without them! :p

My brother, it can't be said anymore plain that what previous posters have already told you. It can be rough or it can be exactly what's needed. Sometimes, the long distance makes the relationship grow strong knowing that you two can spend so much time apart. Then, once reunited, the effect of the time apart will either show itself to be negative or positive. It's all in how you two make it work. Here's a couple of questions for you, if you don't mind: How long have you two been together and how much longer before you to reunite, physically, as in see each other again?
