Relationship obstacles?

What do you think is the greatest obstacle that most couples face today and at what point in a relationship do you think these obstacles occur? :confused: For instance, I think most relationships in the beginning stages don't deal with the same issues that long term couples would face, like finances or children.

How true. In the beginning finances, kids, different religions, and so many other issues fall by the wayside as we feel an inital attraction and learn about one another. But, these are all things, along with many others that need to be dealt with before there is a long term commitment, or things can be very rocky.
