you say that she likes you, so im assuming either you were told by someone or even herself. if she made fun of the way you dance, and she likes you, i highly doubt she was serious about her teasing. one, she could be shy. she could be thinking that, hey i like him, he likes me but what happens now, what do i do. most girls, if not all girls, do it. i did it to. i mean, i have grown out of that stage now, but i use to actually be further away from the guy when i liked him then i being near him because i was so scared to talk to him. being with her friends at the dance was because she knew that you would be looking over at her, and she know she could throw on a good show, she of course wanted you to look and get your attention. the thing you want to do, is when you do get to talk to her, be flirtacious but not too clingy. leave her wanting more when you walk away, or hang up, or sign off or whatever it is you guys do when you do communicate. leave her thinking, "my god, what is he thinking now" its the best way to get a girl to think about you nonstop. play hard to get, but don't be to shady about it that will chase her away. you say you're shy, theres nothing to be shy about. be yourself, at all times. no matter what. and eventually, it could not be now, but you will, guarenteed, find a girl who wants to be with the real you.. and will admire everything about you. so dont be hesitant to show it, let everyone know who you are, its worth it, not to mention youll have such a better time through life. GOOD LUCK!

maybe she just likes you as a friend. don't take the joking around about your dancing personally, it sounds too me like she is not very mature.
