Am I just trippin?

Sometimes I find pictures of girls in bathing suits on my bf phone or magazines somewhere, we've discussed this before and I feel as though I'm too jealous, and I want another point of view. He would get jealous if he found pics of shirtless guys on my phone, etc., except he doesn't go through my stuff, as I do (I know, I shouldn't, but somehow my curiousity gets the best of me). But he says he's not going to downloads stuff like that then later down the line I find something.

Am I over-reacting? I just want a different way at looking at this sit. because I'm tired of being jealous or feeling like I'm not good enough.......

Well, sweetie... I'm a guy and I don't think you're being too jealous. Have you tried telling your bf how his behavior is making you feel? If you explained it to him in a non-threatening manner and simply told him that it makes you feel self-concious or that you're not sexy enough for him or that it hurts you to have him looking at other women's bodies.

We men are visual creatures and unfortunately our world today is full of sexual images. It is one thing to see them in everyday life, but when a man is involved with a woman and truly in love, he should respect his woman enough to not seek out these types of images or be carrying them with him on his phone.

Perhaps if you suggested to him that he take some pictures of you in a bathing suit or if you asked him if he would be interested in replacing the pictures of other women on his phone with a picture of you. There are even some professional type photo studios that specialize in "lingerie shots," which are similar to the Glamour Shots studios.

This maybe a good test, so to speak... though testing relationships is not something a person should do on purpose and this test is one that is occuring naturally... the test would be in regards to how your boyfriend truly feels about you and his sincerity or his ability to truly love you and respect you, because if he does, then he will listen to your concerns and your feelings and want to make you happy in any way he can.
