Hello. I am Joni1944 and I live in Europe. When I was a child mr. Ike Eisenhower was a hero, American soldiers were welcome and only Elvis Presley could sing.
This summer I was able to visit Los Angeles.
I am now probably a hero myself because I still love America. But I did not like
the adversity.
The U.S.A. is so powerful, it should be able to take care of its problems.

I may be old, but the times that you talked about goes way back in time ... going back decades before I was born. Those must be very exciting years. Seriously though, you visited the states for the first time last summer after all those years?

I guess I don't quite get your intro but no matter. I already knew I'm not the brightest crayon in the box.........haha. I'm glad though that you did not hi-jack the plane and landed 'alive' on the ground so you can come to share with us. No sense making yourself a martyr for no reason.

I've never been to Europe but am in love with the late Princess and think Tony Blair got a raw deal.
